Corelatin Private Limited ("Corelatin", "we", "us", "our") is a technology-enabled platform that connects users ("Client", "you") with trained non-medical support persons ("Companions") for logistical, navigational, and emotional support during hospital visits and stays.
Corelatin is not a hospital, clinic, nursing agency, home healthcare provider, or medical institution. Our Companions are not licensed doctors, nurses, paramedics, or allied health professionals. No service offered by Corelatin constitutes medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or advice under any applicable Indian law including the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 or the Clinical Establishments Act, 2010.
Important: Corelatin has no affiliation, partnership, endorsement, contractual arrangement, or tie-up of any kind with any hospital, nursing home, clinic, or diagnostic centre â including any of the hospitals named anywhere on our platform or marketing materials.
1b.1 Operational Independence. Corelatin companions operate at hospitals as visitors accompanying a patient â in the same capacity as a family member or friend. They are not employed by, contracted by, authorized by, or accountable to any hospital. Hospitals referenced on our platform (AIIMS, Apollo, Fortis, Max, Medanta, Safdarjung, etc.) are mentioned only as examples of locations where our companions regularly operate, not as institutional partners or endorsing entities.
1b.2 No Hospital Responsibility for Companion Conduct. Hospital staff, administration, and management bear no responsibility whatsoever for the conduct, actions, or omissions of a Corelatin companion. Any grievance against a companion must be directed exclusively to Corelatin.
1b.3 Hospital Access Subject to Hospital Policy. Access by a Corelatin companion to hospital wards, ICUs, OT waiting areas, or any other restricted zone is entirely subject to the rules and policies of the individual hospital at the time of the visit. Corelatin does not guarantee entry to any specific area of any hospital. If a hospital denies entry to a companion, Corelatin will make best efforts to reschedule the service and, where applicable, issue a prorated refund.
1b.4 Service Coverage. Corelatin operates at any hospital, clinic, or diagnostic centre across Delhi NCR. Named hospitals on our platform are indicative only â you may book for any healthcare facility in our service area.
2.1 Non-Employee Status. All Companions engaged through the Corelatin platform operate as independent contractors and not as employees, agents, servants, or partners of Corelatin. The relationship between Corelatin and its Companions is governed by a separate Independent Contractor Agreement that each Companion executes before onboarding.
2.2 No Vicarious Liability. As independent contractors, Companions exercise independent judgment and discretion in the performance of their duties. Corelatin does not direct, supervise, or control the moment-to-moment conduct of a Companion during an assignment. Consequently, Corelatin shall not be held vicariously liable for any act, omission, negligence, breach of duty, or tortious conduct of a Companion during or arising from an assignment. Any claim arising from the personal conduct of a Companion must be brought against the individual Companion.
2.3 Background Verification Limitation. While Corelatin conducts good-faith background verification (Aadhaar authentication, police character certificate, reference checks), such verification does not constitute a guarantee of the Companion's character, fitness, or future conduct. Corelatin's liability in respect of a Companion's conduct is strictly limited to the refund and redress provisions in our Refund Policy.
â Critical Provision: This section significantly limits Corelatin's and the Companion's legal exposure. Read carefully before proceeding.
3.1 No Medical Liability. Corelatin and its Companions shall bear absolutely no liability â civil, criminal, tortious, or otherwise â for any of the following:
3.2 Companion Indemnification â Release of Companion from Legal Liability. By booking and using Corelatin's services, the Client and all persons on whose behalf the booking is made (including the patient's family, heirs, legal representatives, and assigns) hereby irrevocably and unconditionally:
3.3 Corelatin's Maximum Liability. To the fullest extent permissible under Indian law, Corelatin's maximum aggregate liability to the Client for any claim arising out of or in connection with any booking shall not exceed the total amount paid by the Client for that specific booking. This limitation applies regardless of the form of action, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise.
3.4 Exclusion of Consequential Damages. Corelatin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of life, permanent disability, emotional distress, loss of earnings, or loss of business opportunity, even if Corelatin has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
3.5 Emergency Response Limitation. In the event of a medical emergency, a Companion's sole duty is to (a) immediately alert the nearest hospital staff or nurse, and (b) call emergency services (108 / 102) if outside a hospital facility. The Companion is expressly prohibited from administering first aid beyond calling for help. Corelatin and the Companion shall not be liable for outcomes that result from any action taken or not taken during a medical emergency, provided the Companion fulfilled the above two duties.
3.6 Client Indemnity to Corelatin. The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Corelatin, its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and Companions from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) the Client's breach of these Terms; (b) the Client's or patient's negligent or wrongful conduct; (c) any false or misleading information provided by the Client; or (d) any claim by the patient's family arising from the booking made by the Client.
4.1 The Client acknowledges that engaging a non-medical companion for a person with a serious, critical, or terminal illness involves inherent risks that cannot be fully mitigated by a non-medical support person. The Client voluntarily assumes all such risks arising from the patient's medical condition, treatment, and hospitalization.
4.2 The Client acknowledges that a Companion is not a substitute for a licensed nurse, attendant, or medical professional. The Client accepts sole responsibility for ensuring that the patient receives appropriate professional medical and nursing care from qualified personnel.
4.3 By completing a booking, the Client affirms that they have read and understood these Terms and are making an informed, voluntary decision to engage Corelatin's services with full awareness of the service limitations.
