Gate 1 vs Gate 2: Where to Enter

Apollo Indraprastha is a multi-building campus — the main hospital, a dedicated OPD wing, and separate diagnostic/nuclear medicine buildings. Two entrances matter:

• Gate 1 (Main Lobby) — central registration and billing desks; closest to the Jasola Apollo metro exit.
• Gate 2 (OPD Wing) — the dedicated outpatient block with its own registration and barcode check-in kiosks; also where MRD and the case-sheet archive sit.

For a routine OPD consultation, Gate 2 is usually the faster entry. Oncology patients may need to move between the main building and the nuclear medicine / PET-CT building — a common companion request.

Registration & Barcode Kiosks

Registration options at Apollo:

• Self-service barcode kiosks (Gate 2 lobby) — for pre-booked appointments; scan the booking barcode and go straight to the clinic floor. This saves 20–30 minutes versus the central billing queue.
• Central registration (Gate 1 and Gate 2) — for new patients and walk-ins; carry Aadhaar and any previous Apollo patient ID.

If your appointment is pre-booked, the Gate 2 kiosks are almost always the fastest path.

OPD Timings & Wait Expectations

OPD timings are 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Saturday. Apollo's appointment-based system keeps consultation waits moderate, but total visit time grows when the plan includes diagnostics in a separate building or TPA desk coordination for planned procedures.

Metro, Parking & Access

• Metro — Jasola Apollo Metro Station (Violet Line), Exit Gate 1 — approximately 100 metres walking distance to hospital Gate 1. The best metro access of any major Delhi private hospital.
• Parking — multi-level visitor parking inside Gate 2, plus valet service at the main portico.
• Landmarks — Okhla Industrial Area, Mathura Road, Jasola, Nehru Place.

TPA Desk, Pharmacy & MRD

• TPA / cashless desk (Ground Floor) — pre-authorization and claim-verification queues form here for planned admissions; a companion can stand the queue and relay queries.
• Pharmacy — the 24-hour Apollo pharmacy on the ground floor gets crowded after 2 PM; the 2nd-floor sub-pharmacy is a faster alternative.
