Frequently asked questions

Most hospitals mandate a physical attendant for any procedure involving sedation, anesthesia, or temporary impairment of vision/mobility. This is a patient safety requirement — the hospital needs someone present to take responsibility for escorting the patient home safely afterward.
No. The companion is a non-clinical, non-signatory attendant. They assist with paperwork logistics but cannot sign consent forms, medico-legal documents, or take clinical decisions on the patient's behalf. Consent must be given by the patient or a legally authorized family member.
Yes. This is one of the most common use cases. After cataract surgery or retina injections, patients cannot see clearly and should not travel alone. Our companion stays through the procedure, assists with post-procedure mobility, and safely escorts the patient home with WhatsApp updates sent to you throughout.
Yes, when chemotherapy (or similar infusions such as immunotherapy) is done as a same-day hospital visit. The companion handles attendant presence, waiting, coordination with hospital staff, and safe escort afterward. Companions do not administer chemotherapy, monitor vitals, or provide clinical care — that remains with hospital staff.
Yes. We support recurring dialysis sessions and offer multi-session package pricing for patients on a 2–3x/week schedule. Contact us for a customized recurring package.
No. The companion accompanies the patient but does not drive. They will help arrange a cab/ambulance if needed and ride along to ensure the patient gets home safely.
The companion remains on-site and coordinates with hospital staff. If the procedure is rescheduled to another day, we offer complimentary rescheduling of the companion booking subject to availability.
The Start and End OTPs protect you by ensuring you are only billed for the exact duration your companion is actively assisting you at the hospital. Service time starts only when you provide the Start OTP and stops the moment you provide the End OTP.
Payment is made in the balance in cash or UPI to your companion after the visit is completed — a minimum 55% advance is paid online via PayU at booking. Once your End OTP is verified, an itemized bill showing the visit duration, base charge, and any out-of-pocket receipts (e.g. hospital parking) is emailed to you.
₹349/hr. Minimum booking: 2 hrs. A minimum 55% advance is paid online via PayU at booking; the balance is paid in cash or UPI directly to the companion after the visit.
