Dialysis Companion
A verified non-medical healthcare companion can pick up your loved one from home, drive your arranged car to the dialysis centre, and drop them home after the session, by prior arrangement. Confirm the car, pickup address, pickup time, and return address when booking. During the hemodialysis session window (typically 4–5 hours), your companion coordinates token registration and waiting-room formalities; remains at the facility (treatment-area access is governed by the dialysis facility's rules); immediately alerts nephrology nurses or doctors if the patient appears unwell — for example dizzy, faint, breathless, or bleeding; and carries files and handles pharmacy billing and report collection on your instruction. Companions never monitor vital signs, handle machines or access sites, give medication or diet advice, or sign any consent or clinical record — all machine operations, cannulation, and medical care remain strictly with hospital clinical staff (Terms of Service §26).
