Important: Corelatin companions provide non-medical logistical and emotional support. They are not nurses or doctors. All clinical care is provided by hospital staff.

What we provide

  • Companion arrives at the scheduled start time and stays till the booked end time
  • Bedside presence throughout the night
  • Monitoring patient comfort (positioning, water, call bell management)

What we do not do

  • No personal hygiene or bodily waste cleaning (we do not clean potty/bedpans, assist with defecation cleanup, or provide sponge baths/bathing)
  • No administration or management of medications, injections, or IV fluids (including changing or adjusting IV lines/bottles)
  • No clinical monitoring (BP, pulse, oxygen saturation, glucose checks — strictly managed by hospital nursing staff)
  • Sleeping or resting during the shift (companion remains alert throughout)
  • Leaving the patient's side unattended without informing on-duty hospital staff

This depends on the hospital's ICU visitation policy. Many hospitals allow one attendant in step-down or semi-ICU wards. Our companion will coordinate with the nursing station on arrival. For standard wards, access is always permitted.
Some government hospitals restrict night attendants in shared wards. Our companion will check with the ward in-charge on arrival. If access is denied, we will provide a full refund for the unused hours.
Yes. Book consecutive nights or our weekly package (7 nights) at a discounted rate. The same companion is assigned for continuity.
Our companions are trained for dementia, post-operative confusion, and behavioural challenges. They will never use restraint and will involve nursing staff if the situation escalates.
No. Our policy strictly prohibits sleeping during an active shift. Companions are assigned shifts with adequate rest between bookings to ensure they are fully alert.
No. Corelatin companions provide non-medical, logistical, and emotional bedside assistance. They are not nursing aides or hospital orderlies. For sponge baths, changing diapers/bedpans, or managing medications/IV lines, please coordinate with the hospital's dedicated nursing and ward staff.
No. Administration or management of medications, injections, or IV fluids (including changing or adjusting IV lines/bottles) is strictly outside our scope. All clinical tasks — BP, pulse, oxygen saturation, glucose checks, medication, IV management — are handled by the hospital's nursing staff. Our companion will alert the duty nurse immediately whenever clinical intervention is needed.
The Start and End OTPs protect you by ensuring you are only billed for the exact duration your companion is actively assisting you at the hospital. Service time starts only when you provide the Start OTP and stops the moment you provide the End OTP.
Payment is made in the balance in cash or UPI to your companion after the visit is completed — a minimum 55% advance is paid online via PayU at booking. Once your End OTP is verified, an itemized bill showing the visit duration, base charge, and any out-of-pocket receipts (e.g. hospital parking) is emailed to you.
